音楽といいカラーといい、いつもながらアップルのコマーシャルは冴えてる。

アップルイベントまで余すところ数十時間となった。リーク写真をはじめウワサマシンも全開だ。
しかし今年のアップルイベントを迎えるアップルファンにはこれまでになかった気になる雰囲気があると Macworld 誌が書いている。

iPod をテーマとする来週火曜日のアップルのスペシャルイベントについての読者のチャットを見ていると興味深い変化が感じられる。いつもなら、予想される製品についてクパチーノから発せられる片言隻語をもとに様々な憶測、願望、熱望で溢れかえるのが常だ。確かに Macworld.com にはそんなスレッドも沢山ある。しかしその一方、いつもとは異なるスレッドも繰り返し投稿されている。通常ならこんなイベントの前には見られないアップルユーザーの態度を示すもだ。

９月９日のアップルイベントは iPod、iPod、iPod・・・

ウワサどおりアップルイベントは９月９日だった。
例によってアップルの招待状にはいろいろヒントが隠されている。
予想などあまりしない Macworld 誌が、iPod の予想をしている。

新しいナノ
それじゃ、nano にはあと何が必要だろうか。そうだ、より大きいスクリーンだ・・・

ということで、ワイドスクリーンを備えたナノということになる。従前の形（ビーフジャーキーのかたまりほどの長さの iPod nano）に戻ればいい。ビデオを見るには横向きにする。Kevin Rose が予言したみたいな（プロトタイプだという写真付の）ヤツだが、ひょっとすると彼は正しいのかもしれない。そんなナノなら、アップルがさらに売り込める条件を満たしているからだ。タッチスクリーンなしの iPod だけの機能だが、iPod touch や iPhone の売上げに食い込まずに済む。
